HAVE A GO AT SAILING AS HAMBLE RIVER SAILING CLUB WELCOMES PUSH THE BOAT OUT
Hamble River SC invites you and your family to enjoy an experience of sailing or power boating this Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May 2015 as the club hosts anyone-welcome taster sessions as part of national RYA Push the Boat Out.
RYA Push the Boat Out (09-17 May) is a nine day nationwide event that will see hundreds of sailing clubs and centres across the country opening their gates for local people to come and 'have a go' on the water.
Whether you're completely new to the sport, looking to get back on the water or sail regularly, Hamble River will be one of the many sailing clubs and centres across the country taking part in RYA Push the Boat Out. The event will see hundreds of people taking part in the sport at open days, have a go session.
Starting at 08:00, on 16th May at HRSC (outside the club), there will be a whole host of activities taking place. We will be running half-day "Introduction to Sailing" courses, where you can have a go in one of our dinghies, (even on your own if you are feeling brave!), under the watchful eye of an experienced RYA Instructor. Or try a 1hr taster session in sailing or power boating, with an instructor on board with you to show you the "ropes".
Half day: £30 for a family of 4, Adult £25, Under 18's £10.
1hr sessions: £10 for an adult and £5 for Under 18's.

Alex Ford, Chief Instructor said: "We are delighted to be taking part in the RYA Push the Boat Out, we are inviting the local community to come down to the club, have a go on the water, see what the club has to offer and get involved, who knows if you visit you might just get hooked!"
